what is the new nintendo 3ds, the main thing with the new ds is it now has 3d ability and without the need for 3d glasses either, other then that i am not so sure what other new features the nintendo 3ds has over its older brother the ds.
though the launch of the new nintendo 3ds will miss the 2010 christmas rush and surely it would of been one of the top christmas presents of 2010 otherwise.
but the nintendo 3ds is to launch in 2011 instead, and quite soon the release date is for febuary in japan, of course japan first as is usual for games machines and games consoles, then the release date for europe the usa and probably the uk for the nintendo 3ds will be around march 2011 time.
the price for the uk nintendo 3ds has not yet been released by nintendo though yet, though guesses around the £200 mark or possible lower might be close, when it is first launched in the uk.

the nintendo 3ds would of made a really good christmas present this year if it had been ready for release a bit earlier but it looks like it will have to wait until christmas 2011 now, which is a long way off, the good thing is that the nintendo 3ds will be released in early 2011 instead just before summer, good for those long plane rides when going on summer holiday or those long train journeys, is a good hand held games console like the ds.
